This shaded 20-foot panga departs from Puerto Juárez (by Playa El Niño) with a 60 HP Yamaha Enduro engine, a captain and an expert spearfishing guide. Depending on your skill, we take you to wrecks and reefs — a sunken sailboat at 16 m and several wrecks from 23 m down to 30 m, most of them behind Isla Mujeres, a bit offshore. You may spear crevalle jack, horse-eye jack, barracuda, triggerfish, silvery grunt, grouper, dog, cubera, mutton and yellowtail snapper, rainbow runner, permit, African pompano, bonito, yellow jack, amberjack, cobia, wahoo and sailfish (seasonal). On the 8-hour trip you might also find mahi mahi (seasonal), marlin or tuna at the drop-off.
