This 20-foot panga departs from Puerto Juárez avenue in Cancún and is the cheapest sport fishing boat in the area. It comes with crew, fuel and fishing gear — including jigging and trolling lures. It’s most popular for spearfishing, the owner’s favorite sport: on the spearfishing (harpoon) tour, full spearfishing gear is provided, priced higher than rod fishing. Close to Cancún’s bay you’ll find barracuda, jack crevalle, triggerfish, silvery grunt, bonito and yellowtail snapper. A little further out on the 8-hour trip you can reach bigger fish — mahi mahi, sailfish, marlin, wahoo, tuna, giant trevally, yellowtail amberjack and almaco jack.
